The Nomination Process
We want YOU to nominate the individuals and firms you want to win.
All deals and award winners are to be nominated by the region’s Corporate Finance community, using the following criteria:
- Nominations are restricted to one per person.
- Closing date for nominations is Friday July 18, 2008.
- If you are a sponsor, you cannot nominate firms or individuals in your sponsored category.
- You must submit your own name and company details when putting forward your nomination.
(these personal details will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party)
- The winners of the top two categories - Deal of the Year and Dealmaker of the Year – will be decided at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday 18 September 2008 by the audience through an electronic voting system.
The Adjudication Process
In order to ensure that our Award Winners are qualified, correctly verified and deserving of this accolade, the following criteria will be strictly adhered to:
- The process will be independently adjudicated.
- A short-list in each category will be produced and verified.
- Winners will be announced from a short-list on the night, with the audience casting their personal and deciding votes for the short-listed nominations in the categories of Deal of the Year and Dealmaker of the Year at the ceremony itself.
*Judging decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
